We've decided that TSS will target girls who are 14 to 18. Obviously, we hope tons of people outside of that group will enjoy the site as well, but we have to aim somewhere and that range make the most sense. They're girls that are in high school, which means they're facing a much more similar set of issues and interests than, say, a 13-year-old middle schooler. So thanks for all of your feedback. It was very helpful.
Next on our to-do list is refining the survey (you've already sent the link to every teen girl you know, right?) to really get at the content specifics that girls want. Feminism has ranked one of the highest interest categories so far (go girls!), but how do we reflect this interest in our content? What does a 16-year-old equate with feminism?
